Rising housing costs are putting significant pressure on many people in the capital region. The creation of affordable market rental housing helps to ensure that more people have the dignity that comes with a place to call home.

Mount Edwards
(3rd Floor)
The third floor at Mount Edwards offers 15 units of affordable market housing for seniors over the age of 55. There are two studio apartments and 13 one-bedroom apartments, all conveniently located near the YMCA, downtown Victoria, and Cook Street Village.
Subsidized Housing
We support people living on low incomes by providing them with suitable long-term accommodations. Subsidized rental fees are calculated on a rent-geared-to-income basis. You may be eligible for subsidized housing if you can live independently and meet the household, residency, income, and assets criteria. Please note, you will need to provide your BC Housing file number when applying.
