Oral health is directly linked to overall health, and people experiencing poverty and homelessness often don’t have what they need to maintain oral health. Stigma around substance use, mental health challenges, cultural and language barriers, and distrust of the healthcare system can prevent people from seeking the care they need.

Stigma-Free Care
The Cool Aid dental clinic is the only one of its kind serving adults in the capital region. It offers a full range of compassionate, accessible dental care, including hygiene, fillings, extractions, root canals, and dentures. The clinic sees more than 5,000 patients with low income each year.
Accessing Services
Our clinic offers care to anyone who needs it, but primarily provides service to those considered low-income, those funded by government dental plans, refugees, and newcomers to Canada. For more information, please reach out to us.
Payment
Cool Aid Dental is a lower-cost dental clinic. Patients without dental insurance will receive a 20% discount off the current BC Dental Association’s fee guide. All dental insurance and payment methods are accepted. We also offer payment plans to suit client needs.
